MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will host the 2026 World Cup final on July 19. Located just across the Hudson River from Manhattan, it's the centerpiece venue of the entire tournament.
The Stadium
Seating 82,500, MetLife is the largest stadium in the NFL. The open-air venue opened in 2010 and has hosted two Super Bowls. For the World Cup, the artificial turf will be replaced with natural grass.
Getting There
NJ Transit trains run from Penn Station Manhattan to Meadowlands station on match days. Hotels in Midtown Manhattan are 30 to 45 minutes away by transit. The stadium is also accessible from Newark Airport.
